AMM

I have been after a necklace from AMM that Jennifer of the blog A Merry Mishap makes and had asked my Ma for one for my birthday, luckily for me; i got one! And its perfect! I decided on a safe option and asked for a black curved cyclinder bead, which i thought i would be able to wear with everything. Not only was the necklace so good but the packaging was seriously good. A small white and silver shimmery box came with a business card embossed with the top image on. The box was placed in a plastic white sandwich bag. (At least it looked like a sandwich bag!) but it was so nice! Sealed with a silver heart sticker. I am a sucker for packaging and spent a good few minutes carfeully pealing away the sticker, trying my best not to tear the bag of sticker. The box is now sealed up again in the bag sitting on top of my orange vanity.

BIRTHDAY

On the 24th June it was my 21st birthday. I had a really nice sunny day (after the forecast was rain!) and enjoyed a bunting making morning ala confetti system and a family meal in a small marquee in the garden. I was pretty adament about having it in the garden with black and white marble balloons, some neon and pastel to. It was a quiet day but i really enjoyed myself and hopefully everyone else did to. Ill post some birthday present photos soon, i was very lucky with everything i was kindly given. A Celine bag fund being one of them. My parents and grandparents both gave me some money towards a Boston bag which i have been lusting over for a couple of years. Problem is, i really didnt think id be able to get it so had already thought id get the Celine orange Trio bag instead. Now of course i am having the worst dilemma for a person who cannot make a the simplest of decisions, ie. cheese of toast or marmite toast. This dilemma will continue until i have missed lunch and should be preparing dinner. Anyhow, a GOOD party all in all.

BACK, AGAIN

I have again managed to fail at regular blogging. I also have a good intention and then ruin it pretty quickly. I read so many blogs daily and am constantly being bombarded with information and inspiration. (too much sometimes) that i find it difficult to start writing my own blog. I have a Tumblr now, steezyplease.tumblr.com where i have little text and lots of imagery. I wouldn't want to create a boring blog that no one would want to read so having relevant and original content would be important. For myself as well, i mean, i'm pretty much writing to myself right about now. Im at home in the countryside in England, Glos and am having a really nice summer. It was my birthday a couple of days ago and i am currently trying to figure out which Celine bag to buy using a few extremely generous donations from my family. My boyfriend is back home to so we shall be hopefully be making wooden plates and some pottery. I'm almost more excited about the packaging that we will need to design and create for a hopefully, small "couple" business. Its exciting! As is my new found interest for regular blogging myself. Hope you enjoy my posts, if your out there whoever you are.

YE RIN MOK

Ye Rin Mok takes really good photographs of interesting and aesthetically pleasing details. I love how abstract some are, particually the top photo the grey and curtain and pastel pink peg are so nice.

LIGHT AND GRANOLA

Salcombe, Devon. August, 2011. These were taken on the best long weekend by the Sea ever! Me and Mart had room 18 which was definitely the best bedroom in the entire hotel. It had a shutter door that opened out onto a perfect sea view. The lighting was amazing so i had to take a million bazillion photos each morning of Mart lounging around the room. All before we made our way down to breakfast to see my parents and brothers. I am now a granola, yogurt, raspberry and honey addict. http://southsands.com/

WEEKLY NAILS

After buying two nail pens, one black, one white i have become a little obsessed with my decorating my nails in navajo patterns, polka dots or most recently and my all time favourite, little animals. I have attempted the much lusted after banana nails but they looked nothing like the picture i was copying so i was pretty fed up. Will try again soon though. For now enjoy by bunny nails that had many coos from amirers over the past weekend, pretty cute eh?

BACK, I PROMISE

So, to start with an apology. Not that anyone will probably read this apology as i have not posted for almost year, a very poor show on my account i know. But, i promise this will change. Who exactally am i saying this to? Myself quite possibly... that i am definately going to start posting on a more regular basis. I have lots of ideas for posts and am now on my summer holdiay from my first year at university. This is pretty mad and pretty embarrassing as i made it clear back in august that i was definatley going to post all of the time and they were going to be good posts to. Didn't really happen did it?

Still, it will now. So yes, ive just finished my first year at uni, i'm at UCA in Epsom studying fashion promotion and imaging, specialising in promotion and marketing. Its a good course and im enjoying it, but uni has had its ups and downs of course. Its been a massive change and im still trying to come to terms with the fact that im pretty much an adult now and have to get a proper job etc in the near future. Still, thats all dull. Oh! And i must not forget to mention my weekly parcels from my ma and dad whilst being at uni. Its fair to say that they are the best parcels in the world, and were the highlight of my week. Each was decorated by my parents, and inside included a letter, articles, chocolate, sweets and then something fancy on special occasions like an amazing hat and so on. The photo is of the first parcel i was sent, with me looking a little too much like a frog? And i HATE frogs.

Anyway, at the moment  i am super excited for the summer, i literally cannot wait its going to be amazing. I have lots of plans and ideas but as im a broke student not sure how realistic any of these are? Still, im sure that macaroon making with my ma and bleach tie dye are within the budget. Over and out. (Swear not for the best part of a year this time)
